“Ticket to Ride” is a strategy board game which is rather interesting and can help you to spend funny pastime with your friends. Each player begins with 48 personal train pieces. Also every player gets three destination cards. These cards show which two cities it is necessary to connect by means of your trains. There is a list of points of evaluation. Sometimes it may be rather easy to connect two cities, but there are cases when it is very difficult to connect certain cities. Those cities which are easy to connect give fewer points, and those which are difficult to connect bring a lot of points. If you fail to connect your cities then you get negative points. Other component of this game is train card. You have to collect these train cards which can help you to put your routs and connect cities. These cards are of different colors. Some routes can be put by any color and other parts of routes must be put by definite color. Routs can be long and short, from one to six trains. You receive points according to the length of your routs. The route which consists of one train brings one point. The route which consists of six trains brings 15 points. The player who manages to make the longest route gets additional 10 points. In general this game is intense but funny. Some hard moments come when the game comes to the end because everyone wants to win and try to do it in all possible ways. But it is necessary to remember that this is just a game designed to entertain not to cause tensions. As for the duration of the game, it doesn’t last for a long time as for example monopoly. Approximately it takes from half an hour to one hour to finish the game.
